Patriot Paws Imaging was founded to bring high-quality mobile diagnostic ultrasound services to the Houston veterinary community. As a locally operated, veteran- and woman-owned business, we are proud to serve as an extension of your veterinary team—delivering compassionate, reliable, and expert imaging care directly to your clinic.

Our mission is to support general practice veterinarians with timely and accurate diagnostics, helping improve patient outcomes while reducing the need for outside referrals. With deep roots in the community and a commitment to excellence, Patriot Paws Imaging is here to make advanced imaging more accessible, seamless, and stress-free—for both pets and their people.

  • Katie Blanco

    Owner / CEO

    With a deep passion for helping both people and pets, Katie has spent the past twelve years in the veterinary diagnostic industry, proudly serving the veterinary community. The creation of Patriot Paws Imaging has been a true labor of love for Katie and Jason, driven by their shared commitment to bringing high-quality mobile ultrasound services to the greater Houston area.

    Katie is a veteran’s wife and devoted mom of two young children. She’s actively involved in supporting veterans and serves at the local VFW. Outside of work, Katie enjoys gardening, watching her chickens, and diving into backyard homesteading projects. Whether she’s wrangling kids, managing the business, or getting her hands dirty in the garden, Katie lives life with energy, purpose, and plenty of laughter along the way.

    Jason Blanco

    Owner

    Jason is a combat veteran who served 12.5 years in the United States Marine Corps. Leadership, resilience, and service have been at the core of everything he does, on the battlefield, in business, and at home.
    After transitioning from military life, Jason pursued his passion for technology and became a proven leader in the veterinary and tech industries. With over a decade of experience leading field operations, deploying enterprise solutions, and driving customer success for veterinary healthcare organizations, Jason thrives at the intersection of innovation and impact.
    When he is not helping veterinary teams succeed through smart technology, you can find Jason riding his Harley, off-roading in his Jeep, or spending time with his family, making memories and embracing the chaos of fatherhood.

    David Fisher, BS, RVT, RDMS

    Lead Sonographer

    David Fisher holds a Bachelor of Science in Vascular Technology with a focus in cardiovascular physiology and echocardiography from the Oregon Institute of Technology, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He also holds an Associate’s degree in General Sonography and is credentialed by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in obstetrics and gynecology, abdominal, and vascular sonography.

    With over 16 years of clinical experience, David is known for his exceptional anatomical knowledge, advanced scanning techniques, and compassionate bedside manner—qualities frequently praised by both patients and physicians.

    A lifelong animal lover, David has cared for a wide variety of species, including reptiles, arachnids, mammals, and even monotremes. He has applied his diagnostic expertise to perform accurate, clinically relevant sonograms on both his own pets and those of colleagues.

    Grounded in the belief that imaging and medical care should be delivered ethically and with empathy, David is passionate about bringing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound to the beloved pets of the greater Houston area.
